Consultant for transportation economics (m/f/d)

We continue to develop local public transport, are responsible for the region's suburban railroad, plan modern transport networks and ensure that mobility is reliable, climate-friendly and accessible for everyone. In addition, we provide important impetus in regional planning as well as in the promotion of business and tourism, thus creating framework conditions in which the region can grow and develop positively.

For this task, we are currently looking for a
- Further development of S-Bahn operations and the transport contract
- Independent contract controlling and budget planning
- Interface coordination between public authorities and transport companies
- Coordination of the "S-Bahn contract" team and management of exciting projects, in particular during tendering procedures
- Helping to shape an attractive, sustainable transport service for the entire region.
Due to the necessary flexibility of the office, a change of tasks is possible.
- University degree or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience with a public transport authority or railroad company
- sound knowledge of ordering services, infrastructure use and public procurement law
- Negotiating skills, linguistic fluency and a convincing manner
- Independent, resilient and solution-oriented way of working
