The Stuttgart Region Association is shaping the future of one of Germany’s strongest regions—and to do so, we need people who want to play an active role in shaping this future.
We are further developing public transit, managing the region’s S-Bahn, planning modern transportation networks, and ensuring that mobility is reliable, climate-friendly, and accessible to everyone. In addition, we provide important impetus in regional planning as well as in economic and tourism development, thereby creating the conditions in which the region can grow and continue to develop positively.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
- Participation in regional and regional transportation planning, as well as implementation of the regional transportation plan
- Overseeing technical planning for regionally significant transportation, particularly network planning and evaluation of measures
- Application and maintenance of the regional transportation model
- Drafting of statements regarding third-party transportation-related planning procedures
- Committee work
- A college degree or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the transportation sector
- Preferably professional experience in transportation planning
- Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and in traffic demand modeling using VISUM
- Ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner, team-oriented, able to work under pressure, strong communication skills, and a confident demeanor
